THE GRAND BALLROOM

Our opulent 25 foot high ballroom with arched gold ceilings is the last of its kind remaining anywhere in South Australia. Boasting a decadent atmosphere with elegant decor and luxurious surroundings.

Conveniently located in the heart of Adelaide, the heritage listed Grand Ballroom is a breathtaking room ideal for 3 course lunch or dinner events, themed cocktail parties, product launches, seminars and networking events. The Ballroom boasts a mezzanine level and an adjacent courtyard providing guests with a break out area. The bar facilities can be tailored to your specific requirements and we provide full event management services.

THE EMERALD BALCONY BAR

Simple and sophisticated! The Emerald Balcony Bar is a perfect space for private lunches, dinners & meetings. Your dedicated wait staff will ensure that your function is executed with attention to detail and genuine customer care. We offer a variety of Al a Carte and set-menu options to suit your specific requirements and we offer a dedicated sound system to create the perfect atmosphere.

ABOUT US

The Tivoli Function Centre has been an entertainment and meeting place since 1846. In the 19th Century, it was one of Adelaide’s leading theatrical venues, used as a theatre and assembly rooms before Town Halls were built, providing important social spaces in the young colony. In its 170 year history, the Tivoli Hotel has hosted music events, theatrical performances and rock icon concerts. It's name was taken from the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen , a world famous public amusement park that opened in 1843.

Our Grand Ballroom is the last of its kind in South Australia. It was reborn as a popular live music venue from the 1970s - 1980s, presenting some of Australia’s top acts at the time such as Cold Chisel.

We are proud to be reopening this Heritage Listed iconic and historic venue as a spectacular Function Centre, catering to your next special occasion or event in elegant and luxurious surroundings.
